It looks like youtube finally added the "watch in HD" link under the video. Cool, but they are leaving out the "high quality" link. So it's either crappy quality or HD. Which HD 720p plays choppy on some computers forcing some to just have the regular compression. Either way it's a step in the right direction. Yay, youtube!

So apparently youtube has had a secret 720p HD feature that hardly anyone knows about. Basically if your original video was uploaded in 720p you can get this feature by adding "&fmt=22" to the end of the URL. I made a test on youtube right here. Make sure you full screen it to get the actually 720p resolution. I noticed if you have a really slow connection it doesn't work. Or at least it didn't for one computer I tried it on. Here is an example of the different youtube compression options.

We went to Little York skatepark today and I decided to make a short montage of the clips I filmed. Check it out in the montage section labeled as "11/9/08". Of course it's on youtube also. By the looks of the poll most of the people want the videos to stay in qucktime format. That works for me because I don't have to do anything. Haha, thanks for voting.

I'm thinking about changing all the videos to flash format. The same high quality videos, but with faster loading times and with better compatibility for everyone. Vote!

The new layout is finally done...well most of it. I still have to add a lot of pictures and not all the videos are uploaded. I'm uploading the whole Prologue DVD soon. If for some reason you don't have quicktime you can still see all the videos on youtube. Be a pal and let me know what you think of the new layout.
